Total Solar Eclipse Viewing Event
A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. For our region, the best viewing time will be at approximately 2pm. Cost is $12 per person. Raven Hill Discovery Center- 4737 Fuller Rd., East Jordan. Blooming With Song Spring Concert
The spring concert, featuring popular music from Broadway, film and the American Songbook, performed by the Northern Michigan Chorale. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and age 10 and under enter free. Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts- 800 Bay Harbor Dr., Bay Harbor, Petoskey.
